Today I got 2 new Silkies

Any suggestions on what I could name them?
Any Suggestions on what sex they are?

Hold old are they?
The one on the left looks like a hen to me. I'm not sure about the one on the right, he looks like he may be developing some 'streamer' feathers on his crest, which would indicate a rooster. It depends on how old they are, though. Photos of their combs and the potential rooster's side will help.

They come up now, thanks! I'd also move this thread to the "What Breed or Gender is This" for more input.

I personally have never had silkies, and my gender identification isn't perfect, but I would say the one on the left is a hen and the right is a roo. I'd wait it out still, and the more pictures, the better. ;)


Edit: If they are 19 months, then I'd say hen for both. Wasn't sure if they were little pullets and not fully developed.

They are 19 months old!
