This is Penny and Polly now, the picture of health! Our other 2 ex batts, Henny and Molly, have gone to the big chicken run in the sky but at least finished their days free range

Gee what a difference. They actually didnt look too bad for battery hens to begin with. I have seen them almost totally bare- But you have done a wonderful thing caring for these ones and giving them a home free from those terrible cages.

What kind of chicken are they, they look alot like my Amber.

We were thinking of getting ex battery hens but as we are very new to chicken keeping we copped out. I'm in UK too where did you get them?

Poor things!Im getting 3 and there suppose to be 2 years old so well see how bad they are.
