here are several pics of our 16 day olds. Sorry for all the pics but, I couldn't help myself...

If you look at the screen on the scale you can see the weights of each bird. They weighed between 13.1 ounces to 15.2 ounces. Pretty good if you ask me.

I didn't weigh mine- they are 6 wks. now!

Very big and such pigs..

It's my first time with meat birds you can really tell the difference. They are meater at 6 weeks than the mutts I have been butchering at 3 months.

Hey, justhatchin~~~ this is my first rodeo with meaties to. See of you can get a weight on some of your birds and post a pic of it here. How many do you have. There are 67 in my pen but only 34 are ours.

Are you feeding these chic's full feed are taking it away 12 hrs each day?

I feed from about 7 am to about 9 pm each day. Why do you ask?

I am glad to see a lot of skin showing - I was afraid that it was just mine! So ugly that they are cute! I have to laugh at their antics, and remind myself that they are just babies even tho so big.
