Pics of quail watering systems?

I Used All Pvc Fittings. I'm Not Sure Of The Sizes, But You Need A Lock Washer W/ Nipple. DrillA Hole Through Your Bucket And ConnectThe Nipple. Depending On The Size Of Nipple,Depends On The Size Of Tubing. Run Your House From Bucket To Where You Will Be Watering Your Birds. I Used A 2` Piece Of Pvc Capped At One End. Connect Your Tube The Same Way You Connected It On The Bucket. Then, Fasten Your Water Nipples To The Pvc.
You Might Have To Seal The Fittings, So Just Use A Little Silicone.

I think the issue is what size tubing, what fittings from bucket to tubing, what size for the nipples, is pvc Sch40 or the cheap stuff. I have found the cheap stuff leaks if not drilled out easily..

Hey guys has anybody heard how the nipple waterers with the cups work with the quail? I'd like to do these but would the quails beaks be too small to effectively work these?

They specifically say this:
The cup is automatically filled. As a bird drinks, the spring-loaded tab is bumped, releasing more water.

Just want to make sure it'll actually work with them.

Jazzy I first tried the vertical nipples and didn't like it too much. Spilled a lot of water when the birds drink from them. Had to build a "gutter" underneath to prevent water spilling on my poop tray. I just bought these horizontal nipples and will never go back. There's actually a little "cup" containing a few drops of water. When water runs out, the birds just dig deeper hitting the toggle and more water sips out for them to drink. No spilling. No gutter needed. The birds seem to have an easier time learning to use it as well, more natural then the vertical ones. I haven't tried the one you posted, but am very happy with this one. Save yourself some time and just buy this.

Thanks Cookiesdaddy I like the look of that one but I'm doing this indoor in fairly small cages, so I'm going to have to brain storm on doing that one. Do you think you could share a picture of yours in action? Also do you think they could be mounted on a pvc mounted vertically easily enough? I'll be having a piece of pvc coming straight down into each cage and and end cap on each one. The waterers would be directly off of that.

and thanks for the input, I appreciate it!

I have finally found someone locally who has standard/jumbo Coturnix quail, texas a and m, and golden quail. I'm just not sure which to pick now! lol. I know slow down, get the cages built first. lol.
