And I'm sitting here with one that decided to try and drown itself, got it's head stuck in the marbles,, never saw that before!! Hopefully the dryer and heating lamp will save it's life.

Thanks, I'm trying to get pics of their little top-notches,, but man they are fast little suckers!! It looks like my little drowning victim might make it, but you know how it goes,, it looks fine one minute then keels over.

I came in this morning and found they have no problem squeezing through the wire of a cage that is just a little less than 1/4 inch wide! I had 1 in the cage, and 8 wandering around in and under everything! I got them back but it sure took awhile, they are quick and sneaky!

They are they cutest lil things! Could you out something around the cage so they couldn't get too far? LoL Good luck!

The cage now has cardstock walls around it so they can't get out!

Congrats. on the babies. They are so cute!!! Good luck with the swimmer.I hope he makes it for you. I had 5 quail babies I hatched out and put them all in a bird cage like you did and went shopping. Came home to an empty cage and little chirps all over the house. I found some under the sofa under the fridge and some sitting on top of my DVD player. I have no idea how they got up there.
