The chicks were 4 weeks yesterday, the coop and run are done (thank god!) and they got a taste of the great outside yesterday..They are soooo funny, chasing bugs, dusting in their sandbox, playing dead chicken in the dirt in the sun... So here's some pics thanks for looking

They will be so much happier outside and so will you. And they have their own guard dog.

Wonderful pics! Aren't they fun to watch? Mine are almost 16 weeks, and I still get a kick out of watching them. Such personalities!

I also have two pooches, both of whom are completely unreliable around the chickens. I can just see them thinking "Why can't we play with those dog toys? They make noise and run around! Com'on, it'll be fun!" We have fenced off part of the property that is chicken only, no dogs allowed. Such longing in those canine eyes on the other side of the fence!
