Catchin poop is where its at! Wee Ha! My compost heap smells like heaven. My flowers are GLORIOUS! This stuff is amazing. I started to put sand in there with the fine pine shavings. Also, I cut my melon rinds and kitchen waste about 1" pieces, youngest son is getting very good with that chopping knife.

I hope you enjoy your chicken poop as much as I do.
 
My coop is completely insulated and wired for electricity. Would like to run water out there this year before winter. The girls are still too young to lay but I'm interested in seeing if they prefer a color! The "screen" door is made out of 1/8" stainless steel sheet with very small holes for ventilation. A solid door closes over the screen door for colder weather. The little window slides up and the horizonal window folds down from the top. I have ventilation slats at the roof line on both sides that close up in winter. I would definitely have more ventilation if I did it over. Next major project is to enlarge both the coop and the run.

I had the same problem trying to find inside coop pics when I was setting my coop up too! I had such a hard time trying to figure out where to put everything
