8 hatched.and out two died trying to hatch not sure why. That leaves 21 eggs that are still doing nothing. Today is day 21.

Here's my 6 little Buff Orpingtons that made it. I decided to move the 6 to the brooder. They have been in the bator from 12 to 16 hours. Chick #7 has did not make it.

Two of the Silkies have hatched!!! All three EEs hatched too! Only day 21, hoping the others make it too.

My sweet baby dog Miss Jezabelle gave me grey hairs today!!! About four years ago she managed to get a hold of a rattle snake! It bite her three times in the face and throat! It was really bad!!! Well today I went to go check on the chicklets and baby dog was on our porch but she couldn't stand up and was thrashing and yiking loudly!!!!!! I thought for sure she had found another rattle snake and was in convulsions!!! Well her dog tags had gotten stuck in between the boards of the decking and she was choking herself by trying to get up!!! I am so glad I was home and found her quickly!!!! Talk about grey hairs

I can see how that would give you gray hairs. My dog has the luck to get in trouble a lot as well. The last time he caught a porcupine trying to get into the chicken coop and we had to take him in to have the quills removed from his mouth, throat and chest. The vet said if we had left it until morning he would not have made it because the quills would have made it to his lungs by then.

Love having pets but sometimes they can just be too much lol.
