No they are not supposed to lay them there, but hey I go with the flow, as long as I can find the eggs they can lay them where they want in the barn.

Last of the hens to molt! Oh Coppertop, your such a good chicken! All the hens act SO shy during first few days of the molt. They’ll kinda stand around like statues for a day. aloof for sure. cranky for sure. as long as everyone accepts special protein offerings, I now leave them be and never attempt to ruffle any feathers!
