Thank you! She’s and Barred Rock crossed with Rhode Island Red. Some people call them a reverse black sex-link. Four of the babies are Oliver Eggers and the last is a Barred Rock or Barred Rock cross.

I gave Lucille some eggs. I don't expect many to hatch because they are mostly from my older hens. The rooster in that pen is 4 years old too. (Not that the other roosters aren't trying to "help" when they get the chance.)
But we will see. I put a half dozen in the little Brinsea just in case.
I'm sure to have a couple of pictures in 3 weeks.

Don't wish me too much luck. I counted my chicks before they hatched, and realized that's a lot of chicks.
I'm hoping for six...all pullets.
