I wonder why chickens like fans? Whether standing in front of floor fans on hot days or standing in front of hair blow dryers after a bath or even a heavy outdoor breeze it doesn't seem to bother them. We had a Silkie that tapped on the controls of a little floor fan to let us know she wanted us to turn it on for her!

Interesting, my silkies also LOVE a fan. I run a small desk fan on one side of the coop on hot days and they will perch right in front of it! The turkeys love it too.
