Picture Of The Week (POW) Information & Submissions

This means a whole lot to me now as Susy ate some evidently toxic foliage from the many toxic weeds we have and I was not able to heal her. She passed a few days ago.
So so very sorry for your loss. Fly high sweet Susy.

So sorry for your loss of Susy.

Thought y'all might get a kick out of this... I couldn't find any eggs in the nesting box or the other spots they might lay for about 5 or 6 days. Well, I finally found them. The gigantic eggs are from my wonderful Rouen ducks, the others from my flock! (This isn't even all of them... I broke 5 trying to get them all!)

This is Laura, a sweet 5 week old pullet.
Welsummer//RIR cross.

Laura is small for her age. She is an attention hungry little girlie.
Hatched by a mean broody, adopted by a sweet one.🥰🥰
Definitely a favorite around here!
