I totally agree! And an easy-going nature that is amazing for flock dynamics. Noli is lowest in our rooster pecking order, not because he has to be, but because he's doesn't care about his position. All our brahmas have had a truly wonderful temperament. Even with a dominant Rhodie mom, this mix comes out of rooberty sweet, snuggly, and mellow.

(Rooberty is still rough though. No changing that 😆)
I miss my big boy. He was the boss and he always kept the other roosters in line. He was so sweet that the bantam hens would run to him when the big girls bothered them.

He's gorgeous! He looks like he's carrying around hot coals on that shoulder. I love his coloring! So sorry for your loss.
