Pl and Mya relaxing in the sun. Was only a couple of months ago they were ripping each other's combs off when Mya and her friends joined the flock!

I think Tina has decided to save everyone from Daffy the Drake. Daffy attacks most of the hens apart from the 5 who take no nonsense from him. Top hen Pl, Obarma, poppy, Tina and Mabel will take no crap from Daffy and will bash him if he gets too cocky. Yesterday, Tina walked past daffy and once he thought she was out of sight, he ran and grabbed a hold of her friend Rosie's bum and she was screaming as he was hanging off it. Before I even got a look in, Tina shot back and grabbed daffy and started braying him, then Rosie joined in and then Alice ex batt joined in aswel it turned into him screaming and running away. Then today, Daisy the buff orp walked past and daffy started chasing her and grabbed her and then they went behind the shed and I heard a few flaps and then put came daffy getting brayed by Tina, then Rosie jamp in, then Mabel jamp in and them Daisy ran and got stuck in! They must think he's a bird of prey or something when they see him hanging onto someone because they go nuts!! Looks like he won't be chasing everyone for much longer thanks to Tina

Gorgeous pics again. I'm glad Lacey is making new friends she looks cute along side the others. She is so tiny but I bet she can have a little temper when she wants to.

I hope Daffy learns his lesson and leaves the hens alone. He is out numbered when they gang up on him. That's good that they take up for each other.

Is Roger and Charlie getting along? That's a cute pic of Charlie and Peggy together.

He's probably never seen so many hens in his life.

What kind of chicken is Mya she is beautiful. I'm glad you have peace again with everyone getting along.

Thank you!! Yes, Lacey can certainly have a temper, but it's usually with me! And you'd think he would be learning his lesson, but he isn't! The other hens just need to start sticking up for themselves!! And they have been generally fine, but Roger is getting less tolerant now, but he's doing nothing that seriously bothers me. Everytime he does go for Charlie its when hes chasing a screaming hen, so its his own fault lol. I don't have a clue what breed Mya is, but she's lovely! Thanks again, have a great day too.

My friends hens were attacked by a dog yesterday. One is missing, half of them have hardly any feathers and one of the two cockerels just came back last night and look at the state of him! makes me sad/mad that people don't bother to keep their dogs on leads when they can't control them. The owner apparently just stood and watched for about 5 mins until someone else got involved and went down screaming at the owner

Either the dog's owner was in shock, or stupid, or was enjoying it.
That is a shame.

Gorgeous pics of them all. You are such a good photografer. Sorry I can't spell. The orphs were having a meeting with the boss and discussing the agenda for the week. Love that pic. Lacey is too cute and the funny thing is she knows it. The little stinker. Bella with her adopted child, Lacey, precious.

That is so sad the rooster got attacked. I hope he makes it. Some people can be so stupid or evil I don't know which is the case. Probably both.
