YESTERDAY:
Set off to see the hens at 12.30, just got back now. Got them all cleaned out and all of the top girls sat on the dirty pile of bedding whilst I did it the wusses! Took ages to walk and lost my gloves on the way. The worst part was walking through the field as you can see in the pic how deep some of that was!

TODAY:
The roads wernt as bad this morning so I dug my car up and drove up the penrith road and parked at the end of this loaning and walked over to the hens road. Only felt uncomfortable driving a couple of times, but I managed.

Love the photo's. I live in southern Utah, desert, and we never really get snow. Sometimes it falls but it never really stays longer than a few hours. I think the chickens appreciate it, but I love the pictures of them in the snow!

That is a lot of snow for your area, considering you said you didn't really get snow last winter. I can sympathize - everything seems to take longer in deep snow. I keep loosing my right glove, and I often can only find a bunch of left hand gloves when I am looking for a pair.

The photos sure are pretty though.
