right? People just need to know a different option is out there!

You should publish your own chicken calendar, and that should be February.

It is good that you helped rehome those 3 chickens. It just sounds like the current owner isn't up to caring for them now. Too bad it isn't easier to rehome almost feral chickens.

Did something happen to the owners? Were they old and got ill?

Well the 3 that my friend got that were running around the place had an owner who was ill, he died like two days after we got them. The other hens in a huge shed are owned by a man in a wheelchair. Not sure why he got them because he can't exactly clean them out can he? :/

Oeflay has been back out with the flock since Tuesday. She eventually defeated her impacted crop and is now happily healing. Been a difficult recovery for her, she had the wounds and the impacted crop to fix, but she managed in the end
