Another egg from Mabel this morning, in her bag again! She then got out her bag and thought she deserved a treat! Was annoyed with her because she's supposed to be getting wormed!

No would never keep any in the house. Don't like hatching unless it benifits my hens. I hope so too, but I have a new broody shed ordered so will be safe by the time the ducklings hatch

I wish I had picture or video of her chasing the bugs to share. Shim, my oldest and bravest (or dumb) hen follows my guy when he mows the lawn. She gets all the bugs the mower displaces. She has no fear of the loud motor. The other 3 hens run into the house to hide as soon as he starts it up. Not Shim. We have to watch her carefully so she doesn't get under the mower.
