So sorry you lost your pics from last month. Maybe you can recover them somehow. The cell phones are a mystery to me. I just like the flip phones that has two options, call and receive because that's about all I can manage.

The picture of Lacey is so funny. Did she trip and fall or just lay down in a bunch of mud. Thanks so much for posting the pics and i love the one too of Bella with her Aunt Daisy. I'm going to eventually learn all these names.

Nope they're all gone sadly . She just loves to play in the mud!

Had to go searching for the ducks this morning! It was all too quiet! They're always in your face running about quacking or they are nowhere to be seen! All were happy down at the bottom of the stream

I should have known that was Bella. That little fluffy body she is adoreable.

I'm glad you found the ducks. It always scares me when I can't find them. Is Josie and Lacey becoming friends? They are awfully close. That's sweet I hope they do become friends. Lacey needs someone besides Daffy.

Thanks for sharing the pics they are beautiful as always. I wish I had a stream running threw my yard like they do. We do have a koi pond we had to fence in. The ducks were going fishing everyday.

Thanks. They aren't friends, but Josie isn't nasty to her either, she just doesn't care. I think they would be friends if Lacey would stop running away from her haha.

LAST NIGHT:
My friend asked me to go with them to pick up some hens from someone near by. Turns out they were ex battery hens which I love. She asked me to pick the hens for her, so I did and as I was doing it I noticed a girl with a pecked bum off the others. Felt bad for her so I picked her up and went to put her on the box but I knew my friend wouldn't want her so I put her back down and then felt guilty so I ended up saying I would take her and I put her in the box and then I knew I couldn't get just one so I picked up the other who was sat next to her on the perch. She's got some spray on her bum now and is settled for the night. They're gonna have to be secret hens or I'm gonna be on trouble! The person who we got them from asked my name and I told them and they said they recognised me from my posts on here!

Just as my pecking order finally settled, I'm about to mess it up again by adding two new girls

. They aren't in the best condition as they're ex batts so don't think they'll have as much fight in them as the last hens I introduced. It's took over a month for them to establish who's boss. After being ganged up on multiple times and getting her face ruined twice, PL is eventually back fit and established as top hen again, so everyone including me is happy about that!

Let the new girls out this morning and it's going ok. No one is really being too nasty apart from the previous bottom hen, Tina. Was happy with top hen PL though, she let them come into her shed and chased all the bully girls about. Reminds me why I helped her stay boss. When she first saw them all she did was walk up to them with their head above hers and when they walked off the was good enough for her and she hasn't pecked them once

Well I'm glad PL remained the top hen. She is gorgeous and I'm so happy she didn't try to fight with the new hens. Bless your heart for saving them. With the fresh country air and good food they will be healthy happy hens in no time. Is that Pl's name or is it intials for her name? Now you have two more chickens to name.
