Picture Thread!

Mine came to me through circumstance, not by choice. They are VERY sweet, being raised on layer feed, they lay surprisingly well, though the eggs are smaller. Every bit as tasty, but smaller. They are PERFECT size to fry Sunnyside up and lay on top of a hamburger :D
Really? I've always heard that jersey giants lay extra large. I really like Mine sunny side up too! I've never my eggs on a hamburger before though. Might try that sometime! I like mine sunny side up on a piece of toast

It's messy as hell but SOOO GOOD! Doesn't even need ketchup! Just season the meat a little as you normally might, a little lettuce or BBQ sauce if you fancy it, lay the egg on top and there you go!

JGs are not know for laying weld, but mine do! If they lay giant eggs, I haven't head it, and neither have Lily or Petunia. My BAs lay nice large eggs! Yolk is about the sam, just less albumen I the JGs, I think

I dunno ... my girls' eggs taste great ... but I think that has to do with good feed, good forage, and good treats. Happy chickens lay happy eggs. My girls' eggs taste best in late summer after a good season of foraging the yard and eating bugs to their hearts delight! Nice golden, nearly orange yolks, so rich and tasty!

This one isn't a 'throwback' picture ... taken today! Putting a saddle on poor lil barebacked Hermione.
