Thanks. It still needs nesting boxes and some vent windows cut in and the run which will be out of 6ft tall chicken fence(hubbys idea to have it that tall lol)
and it sits inside my already fence in yard so for now they run around in the yard

question..What do you suggest for insulation in the winter as it gets really cold here but for summer we are fine with no insulation..
inexpensive:confused: Suggestions??

WOW - Nice coop. I would put something up so the chicks can look out the window.

Mine can look out the front of the horse stall with event front turned chicken coop and mine LOVE to look out the front hardware cloth covered event front (window)

I just put a deck storage box under that area for storing their feed, towels, supplies, etc so they can get on it to see out. (Yes - they do poop on it but I just remove the lid and hose it down.

One HUGE garden you got there. You must really like your veggies.

Thanks for sharing.

Very spacious accommodations!

dipence71, where do you live?

Go to Profile, and fill that in. It will automatically update. (Our Moderaters are good with their software.

Your pics look very Midwestern, but also could be...Idaho?

Thank you. I got them at Farm & Home, they are back with the feed buckets. They are galv. feed bowls is what I would call them. They were like $4 ish each.

I still need to put in my nesting box and they will go under the window so they will be able to get up on them and look out the window.
Its not totally done yet lol but are they even really done???
