How many chicks do your hens usually hatch? I love game hens. I used to have 4 pure and 2 cross game hens in with a RIR rooster. Really good layers, but I only had my black game hen and game/silkie hen hatch and raise chicks.
 
It varies some. The Asil set on about 8 to 10 and hatch 6 to 8. I have a few American games that will set on 14 or 15 at a time and hatch 95 % or more. Others will lay and lay but only set once a year.
