Sorry about the quality of this picture, more of a eureka moment for me as the "flock" finally accepted my newcomer Prince. He is 2-3 weeks younger than the rest and the first 5 days he was getting bullied badly, they refused to let him eat or drink but I gave him a small hiding spot that only he could reach and he could watch them.
After the first day I wanted to remove him as he was getting bullied so bad but that made him cry for 3 hours straight so I placed him back and he was chirpy as ever again (even though he got shooed into hiding straight away)
Well I have some new chicks on the way but he was being too lonely by himself till then (also taking up space) so I am glad they have accepted him. Still some squabbling going on and he is half their size so he still has to take cover but getting there and he is growing by the day now, just 2 more weeks and he's be the same size as the rest.

I wasn't planning on getting these pullets but I ended up with four of them, and I love em! Meet Chloe-Sue, Betty-Lou, Tina-Too, and Suzy-Que (Chloe is the one that hops in my hand in the video, that's her favorite spot to cuddle up and sleep)

Can anyone take a guess what sex my 7 weeks old chick would be? He/she rules the flock so I'm leaning towards male, definitely much bigger red comb than I would have thought but by now his colours should have changed which they haven't so still undecided if anyone wants to take a guess. He's the only one of his kind I have and have resigned trying to find him a mate but if it is a "he" he would be a bit useless to me unfortunately

Hmmm. This ones tough. The comb is definitely pretty red and big for 7 weeks... usually hens combs get red right before they lay. I’m going to guess cockerel, just based on comb, but I could definitely be wrong.

Moved the coop on to its platform and the hens into the coop. We will keep them in a few days until they recognize it as home and then let them in the run. They seem pretty content so far!
