Pictures? To draw?

Okay, so, I have not gotten any more requests for pictures to draw, so I may just go over this thread and draw some of the photos that were either too hard or that I just skipped to make sure everyone who entered got at least one drawing. :) But yeah!
Want to try a pigeon?

The best I could do for now...my first pigeon drawing! How many pigeons do you own?
You did good!
I have one pet pigeon plus a mostly feral one that I caught because he had string wrapped around his feet (a common problem with feral pigeons). I say “mostly feral” because he has a band, which means he was taken care of by someone at some point before joining the feral birds.

Thats nice! Do you train them? To be homing pigeons (I think thats what they are called)?

They have a seperate aviary away from the bantams, right? Do you know their genders?

I don’t train mine to home partly because they aren’t homing pigeons (it’s a specific breed), and because letting them free fly is too risky for me.

They do have separate pens, since chickens can bully/kill pigeons. I’m pretty sure both of mine are males, but sexing pigeons is less precise than with chickens.

Oh really! Never knew that! Sure is interesting!
