Actually the one i think you are talking about is an EE. She is the Roosters sister. The other picture with them looking through the fence is wyondottes. But i think you meant the EE, she does look like a delaware...but i only have one. Aran can you tell me any good places to go in upstate NY? We like to take off and usually go up to the top of NH to moose alley. We are thinking of finding new roads to travel and are going to try some areas of VT that i have not been and into NY. So i figured you might have some ideas. I do know of catskill game farm, but thats about it. I think more of the east side of you though as i only get one day a week off work

That is a beautiful EE rooster, I have a EE rooster that is also very gorgeous. Something about EE's makes them beautiful. I also have 2 EE hens that are beautiful. My best girl out of all my chickens is cinnamon(EE hen). Your silkie's are also very cute, one of my silkie's is about 6 weeks old and she s a bundle of joy. My other silkie is only 4 days old and it is going to be a partridge. Thanks for the pics. I'm glad somebody loves EE's and Silkie's as much as I do.

Hey, I didnt want to hijack the other thread so i posted here.
I found the pics of your SLW.

Its probably been discussed before that one of them has a single comb and they have interesting markings as well.
I think I may have commented before about how nice your flock looks but, if so, I'm commenting again.
You have a very nice looking flock there

A cross between your one EE and one of the SLW's would be interesting to see, are you going to do that?

Thank you for that, I am no longer able to post in 'my page' since its changed, but i am going to try to fill my myspace pictures with ALL my birds. I sometimes cant believe how lucky i got with my silkies. They were just given to me the day they hatched because they did not want anymore. It just happened i had been looking for splash. So i will keep adding to myspace.
Now about the mix....I have one big EE Roo one bantam EE roo and maybe a silkie.....not sure yet. i posted pics yesterday to see what people thought. So the EE roo is in a pen with the SLW.......I suppose they will be fertile but i am not planning to hatch any because i am way over the "law" now. This is my EE Roo just in case you did not see a grown up pic of him. Like i said i cannot update my page here, so those are when they were little. I think it looks like a fake beard he has on....LOL
