Hello,
Hoping you can help me figure this out. I have a 3 month old Cochin Bantam roo that has like a piece of twine or thread like string hanging out of his mouth. I tried to pull on it but it would not come out when applying just a bit a pressure so I just cut it off at the end of where it went inside his mouth. He doesn't seem to be himself either and this is obvious to me! I have also been scooping up big clumps of grass with lots of dirt. They always have water.
He was vac for Mareks and Cocci and was on an organic chick starter and now I am feeding them Nutrena grower which I just started a short time ago. They are not outside yet but have been in a well ventilated coop with three windows with screen. We are hard pressed for time getting our outside run finished. But have tried to make up for that by giving them the grass. All the others look great!!
Do you have any thoughts about this or anything I might be able to do to help Napoleon out? Any ideas would be so appreciated,
Thanks!
