pied muscovy question!

I have a question about one of my female scovies coloration. A guy just came to my house to pick up some pekin drakes that I rehomed. They breed and sell pied muscovys over at his place..While waiting for me to catch the ducks he said that he had never seen a scovie with the top of its head black like one of my girls. Here is a pic.

She is the one in the right top corner, the one with the little cap of black on her head. Is she really that unusual? Or is she just a run of the mill bird and that guy is confused?

I've seen quite a few with the cap. Maybe he just breeds birds with more white on them? or maybe his carry the white head gene?

My pieds don't have caps but some do have darker heads.
