Pied or Split White? Please Vote!

If any of those adult blues came from my eggs the first year we traded, they could be carrying silver pied or WE genes.

It is possible that this one is out of the dark pied hen that hatched from your stock.

Your male could also be split purple and then congrats you have a peahen.

Pretty sure four of the five boys are just IB or IB split to white, but the one stray could be anything, and this is his first year with hens. Will be marking eggs a littke better from now on.

Last time I had one that looked similar he turned out to be pied white eye, and very pretty in frosty way.

Would white eye just show up?

It could if both of the parents are split to white eye but two copies of the gene need to be there for the trait to be expressed.
