Ok so I've had my orphaned pigeon for about a week now and haven't seen it bathe once. I put a clay drain-plate for a potted plant in his cage with some warm water in it and he doesn't even like to stand in it. There is a chance he's using when I'm not watching but the news paper on the bottom of his cage never seems to be wet. I know people mist their pigeons but he can get a little "salty" with me and I don't want to traumatize him. Could I get a little bit of insight here?
