My pigeon was sitting on her eggs the other day and she noticed i put food in the bowl so the male came running and the female hoped out two to eat and the two eggs were left in the nest for only 2 miniutes and then she came back. It was only a one time thing and the eggs had the incubation of the straw underneath them. Is this ok and is it somtimes normal. It is around 12 degrees celcius, not farinhite, at the moment but gets warmer and at the time it was about 12 celcius. So is that ok. she was

Also how does a pigeon know if she is on the eggs at the write temperature. It must be cool to find out

thanks

That is fine if 12 degrees it always around 7 in Ireland and the mam and dad always go out for sometimes an hour but if they left the nest for more than 10 mins just check on the egg

thanks,

they only leave in for no more than 5 min and it was only twice. they have not done it for at least a week now so i am really happy. Im on day 10 at the moment and so exited
