PIGEON FEMALE LOST

My pigeon female left today the same day her eggs hatched the father is still here but he is gonna get off the chicks at night.WILL SHE COME BACK?
How do i safe the chicks?!

I let her out at about 1pm and left for about 2-3 hours and when i came back she is nowhere to be found..
im so worries....
We have a few predatory birds around but its very rare and she doesnt fly she just sits on the roof

She should come back if she is able. Don't lose hope yet.

'So sorry. How are the babies? If it's cold where you live you could try bringing them indoors and caging them with dad. You might have to help dad feed as they grow larger.

I can tell you that I had a hen raise a squab by herself til it was about 10 days old when she stopped feeding it
I hand fed him after that. Usually the cockbird does most of the feeding. So if the babies at least get their crop milk from dad for the first week that would be great.

Bio gave you some good info. I can't add much more, except that the cock bird most likely wont sit on them day and night so you will probably need to find a way to keep them warm if you want to save them, and also be ready to hand feed. Let it be a lesson for the future to never fly birds which have eggs or babies...
