You can buy the Diamatacious earth powder. You just put it in the place that they take dust baths and it will kill all of the mites

Pigeons don't dust bathe. They bathe in water.

I use a few tblsp of 20Mule Team Borax in the bath water for prevention of external parasites. Once they have mites I believe it's best to use a permethryn based product or Ivermectin sprayto eliminate them.

Can you get hold of this? Best treatment for pigeon parasites. Borax in the bath water is also good.
