Pigeon Problem

Consider using a treadle feeder. Pigeons will not be able to get to the feed, but the heavier chickens will quickly learn to stand on the opener to get their food.

Remove nests and place pigeon spikes or wire where they roost. Consider that pigeons are enormously intelligent, and despite their reputation rarely carry disease, unlike many songbirds.

hmm... I guess there isn't really anything that I can do... The pigeons are even brave enough to go in the coop and sit in there and eat the feed... And all day they sit on the coop and around the coop waiting for feed to drop. I swear there are at least 20 pigeons that wait around the coop!

I hear squab is good.

Well, looks like you now own a flock of pigeons unless you trap and remove them.

Well I can understand them coming over, its free food and I am sure they are hungry. I have never heard of them carrying diseases but I don't know everything. I do know they taste good.
