I was thinkn if we took one of these things and turned it long ways up? Would that make a nice pigeon loft? Add a nest shelf? I could keep some button quail in the bottom to clean up extra feed right? Id like to keep it on the geound not lift it w a wire bottom but would lifting it be recommended?

Here are my thoughts,,,,,,,,,,, Get 2 or more and use modular fashion. A walkin has many advantages.:thumbsup
I would keep quail in separate facilities myself.:idunno
I personally prefer ground on bottom. If you think of lifting it and having a wire bottom,,, then it being a walkin is compromised.
In your climate area, an open front that is screened with HC would be the IDEAL setup.

Thank you so much! Yes we need lots of openness for air flow down here, HC was the plan, til the two months of winter :lau you see how that things done ;) i dont want a single heatstroke and that takes proper air flow, shade and lots and lots of water

Why separate the quail from them? I was hoping to make use of the floor space, but is there a problem i should know about? It isnt a necessity i have tons of quail cages. Im just gathering info. This shouldnt happen for awhile. Need to find a npip breeder in LA
