Pigeon VS Chickens!

Hey y'all!
What if I am only "allowed" to get one type of bird? I was planning to get chickens for a while now, but now I sorta really wanna pigeon!
Pigeons seemed easier to care for, because my dad had some pigeons before.
I think pigeons are the better choice for my living condition and my lifestyle.
But! I've been planning to get chickens for like, 4 months now! And I worked so hard on planning everything!
Please give me your advice! Thank you SO much!!!

LOL! THanks. You're right! I think i'm getting both pigeons and chickens. Sorry for bad spelling, holding ice pop in my hand.

I couldn't live without either lol. The chickens are awesome and tons of use for my compost,eggs, and just as pets. The pigeons are my favorite pet I've ever owned they are free range and come back every night and put on a free air show everyday.
