Skipper and his wound today.
I’ve been using an antibiotic ointment, tetracycline based antibiotic powder (the yellow stuff), and an antiseptic spray.

Thank you for the information!Hy there,
pigeons are very hardy and I heard from someone who has like a thousand pidgies that crop wounds heal very easily.
But please do not clean again with peroxide, especially not repeatedly because it will slow, and can even kill off, new growing skin cells because it is so agressive.
Just as a caveat if you wanted to clean it again, saline solution/boiled and cooled down water is enough for most wounds.
And stay with one option of antibiotics, it makes no sense mixing powder, spray and ointment. Too much, and they might interfer with each other.
Much does not help much in this case.
Just stay with one and use as instructed
If it does not heal now on its own, and an opening persists, pinching the wound ends together before using glue on it, will keep the edges together so they can grow close.
Otherwise that will happen on its own, but some birds might need help.
For now it looks very good and just take care no food/dirt gets stuck in the wound. It should be fine growing close on its own.
