Pigeon with hole in its crop

I rescued another feral pigeon with a hole in their crop. It’s been about a week and a half and the pigeon’s crop is closed and they’re doing well. This time I did have to remove more scabs/dried blood from around the wound after the glue came off, and there was some dead skin in the wound that I also had to remove. The wound was bigger and not as fresh as Skipper’s when I caught him, but he’s still doing well now and will be released in a couple weeks.

I rescued another pigeon with a hole in their crop, but the injury was mostly healed already so all it needed was cleaning rather than a superglue plug. That pigeon has also now recovered and can be released.
