Pigeons dying off

For no reason my flock of white pigeons have been acting really strange. Any young hatch died. The adults go around in circles causing them not to be able to fly. All of a sudden I have had this problem the last coue of days. I think something is causing it becuase it is only killing the young birds- hatch- 5 months old. I started yesterday culling all that looked to have it in hopes of preventing it. I just want to know what eerybody might think it is. I think I have stopped it by culling them though.

Suggest you have paratyphoid (salmonellosis) tested for .. sounds to me like that's what you have. It's fixable with medication. You actually won't cure it by culling as you may not get the actual carriers who are not showing symptoms. The pigeon supply houses all carry medication for this.

Your birds have Paratyphoid. Treat all your birds with Amoxicillin or Baytril for 14 days. Clean out your loft and protect water and food from droppings.

Paratyphoid. Foys pigeon supply carries the antibiotics, or go to your pet shop and Amoxicillin or Baytril for treating fish diseases.
