Super frustrated!! First the turkeys kept eating the chicken food so I closed the coop and rigged the door so the chickens can get in but not the turkeys. Now the pigeons are getting but can't get out!!! How do I stop the pigeons? The chickens and turkey free range all day but get some rationed pellets/boss in the morning and a little at night to get em back to the coop. Now they don't want to go in .. Probably for fear if the crazy pigeons trying to escape..

Help!!

That's a tough one.

Not sure what the solution is. Loud noises, like the radio playing? People walking by regularly? Not providing feed for the birds daytime?

For one of my chicken coops and open runs, I have old sheets that are near the coop entrance. The wind flaps them to help keep overhead predators away. Also helps keep the local birds away from the entrance. And it helps keep ground predators from jumping in and catching my chickens entering/exiting the coop.

Could you post a picture of the area? People might be able to offer better suggestions if they can see what you are working with.
