When do they lay?i just got a pair of birmingham rollers there cool! the do backflips lol

Depends on how they are. usually not till they are at least six months old. The are very good birds for the beginner. Very hardt and good producers. I have about 50-60. Have raised them for over 30 years. They still fascinate me! What colors did you get?

There all black and They have a shining purple and green on there neck

rollers comes in all colours as they're not as important as their flying ability... yours just black.

Is there any signs of when there getting ready to lay? is the female the larger one?

Males will be larger in the neck, but still hard to sex that way. Male will coo more and feed the female before mating. If they are 6 months old they will be breeding anyday now.
