and oh yeah... the black nun and lahore... LOL... yesterday while working on their new coop, i saw them doing it... they for some reason took turns on eachother... is that normal..? well, tomorrow their new awesome home is ready... so they can nest up and lay eggs... i can't wait...

and i love my swifts... are they rare..? i can't find much about them online...

Sometimes they will take turns....but usually I only see that when I have two cocks or two hens paired together

They could just be young or very excited, haha

Swifts are uncommon, and you could probably even say rare. Not many people breed them (that I am aware of - lots of people breed pigeons but don't have websites or any kind of advertisement). They are beautiful birds though! There's a few people in my state that I know that breed them.

update on my lahore/black nun pair... i think they're either both males or females... i checked their bones, and they felt like hens, but after all that commotion, no eggs... fail... so i guess i'm gonna have to separate them and get a new hen in there or something...
