This summer we are doing a 10 year contract with pigeon king for a hundred pair. $2,500 a month for taking care of 200 pigeons is a pretty good deal to me

Sounds pretty Nifty, what does pigeon king do?
taking care???pigeonsitting???
Just curious!!!!
I have 6 white homers too, they are in training at present with 2 nesting pairs.
I will be "liberating" them in 6 weeks for some trial runs.
They are such wonderful, interesting birds with so many different habits, i can watch them all day long.
I'm in Blairstown, NJ and I have about 22+/- pigeons mixed in with the chickens. I do let them all outside together on a nice day and the pigeons love to sit up on the roof of the house. They all come back in at night just nicely. I keep them just because they are beautiful. Sometimes I sell a few but I usually end up buying more than I sell! I have mixed breeds. some helmets, one homer from auction, pied, feather-feet, fantails, white Kings, and who knows what mix! They are just for fun so who cares what breed! I do have one, Victor, that hatched out partly blind. He can see enough to eat and drink but not to fly or defend himself from the others so I have him in a cage in my room. I tried to find a home for him but no one wants an absolutely gorgeous dark fantail with white feather-feet that is blind! Anyone interested in lightening my workload and providing a home for Victor? I originally named him Victoria but he is definitely showing masculine behavior!
I saw this thread and wow. Sounds like a grate deal for just raiseing pigeons. I am going to start keeping them myself. Just saw the guy today im going to get my stock from.
So did a little searching on pigeon king and found this, thought I would pass it along. Sound too good to be true? It is.
I am getting my matting pairs for 40 bucks. Not 200.00.
well, my pigeons are white homers and they will be released at weddings too.
Im having real fun, not, trying to source the pretty cages, i may have to make them myself with a soldering iron and a cutting implement? how do you cut birdcage wire??
heres my little sweet boy:
