I noticed this morning I was missing a Pekin. I went looking in the woods and all I found was a pile of white feathers. No blood, no bones. There was a pile of scat next to it that I'm trying to ID. It appears to have persimmon seeds in it.
What animal would leave only a pile of feathers? :(

Can you post pictures of the scat? That will definitely help the experts her to identify the duck-killer.

:welcome :frow Could be a fox. If you have a game camera, put it up because the predator will return usually once they have made a kill then you will know for sure what you are dealing with.

We have a lot of coyotes here and yesterday I noticed some scat with persimmon seeds in it too. Our neighbor has some trees. I think mine was from a coyote. I see coyotes most nights on at least one of my game cameras.
