Pilgrim Geese thread

I am looking forward to seeing it! I love seeing the personalities of everyone's birds. :)

I'm glad you get to enjoy your geese for awhile. Sam sounds very protective.
When did your ganders start showing signs of being protective/aggressive? Just wondering if I knew what to look for I could maybe see it coming for my two. Hopefully without having a female around they won't become the typical ganders. That's not going to stop their hormones though... What age do they become mature or hormonal?

My gander and goose were only 7 months old when they started mating!
I think that pilgrims become adults at around 6 months old.
My gander had another personality after the goose started laying eggs. He was so aggresive and overprotective that I couldn't turn my back to him!

Good to know, thanks everyone! I'm hoping that since we don't have females and eggs they won't become aggressive. Time will tell.

I love this picture I got today of the boys and thought I would share. :)

I wish I knew how to make this link smaller  but I cannot figure it out so here is Opie herding Sammy, usually it's all 4 but they split up today.

@JLynnsDuckies
The link worked but it froze. I could hear sounds and see a still picture... :(

Is Sammy the white embden? Opie is adorable. Muscovy's are really starting to grow on me. Your place is beautiful too. I wish it would have worked. :(
