Pine-needle baskets

Anyone on here make pine needle baskets? I am interested in getting into this hobby, but I am unsure of how to start. I have a good idea of how to go about it once i have the base started, but I'm not sure how to do the first knots with the sinew, twine, or whatever I choose to use.
