SJchickens
Songster
Hi!
We're currently preparing the run for our chicks, who are about ready to go outside. We're turning our German Shepherd's old run into a run for the chickens, but the shepherd's waste has just made it stink so much . So we put the pine shavings down, and they pretty much negated the smell, but afterwards we realized maybe this wasn't such a good idea. When the shavings get rained on, will they build up harmful bacteria, or will it be fine for the chickens?
Thank you
