After getting the idea from welman on the Chicken block thread, a friend and myself decided to do a Pinewood Derby Quilt to sell/raffle (whatever we can do with it!) to raise money for our Cub Scout pack I just wanted to post pics of the progress so far. The pattern is from www.fatcatpatterns.com and we did it a little different. We are going to put gold squares in each corner with an embroidered fluer di leis (sp?) on it and then finish the blue border there then quilt it.
