pink egg layers

get easter egger chicks americana or araucana or ameraucana from a hatchery or feed store that have variety of colors of chicks in the americana breed from white, cream, orange, beige, brown, tri color (calico), leapored patterns. if the store clerk knows what they are doing they may have a good chance of getting you a pink egg layer. i think you need to stick with all the colors other than the darker ones. best to you.
 
My whitish EE lays pink eggs. The EE with mottled grey and blu-ish feathers lays blue eggs. The buff orps have not contributed yet so I can't say on them. I was assuming brown. The NH Reds are light brown, pinker than a brown egg but not the pink of the EE. My 2nd year observations only say the eggs are about the color of a hen's underbody. What do I know though?
