Thanks....wonders if @Kadjain
is using still the same breeds...and if any F1, F2, F3.... or any CB's were successful?
I'm curious to know if the original L Brahma pink egg layer has hatched a cock for this project.

I am still using the same breeds, I don't know what F#s or CB means.I'm curious to know if the original L Brahma pink egg layer has hatched a cock for this project.
Since the cock from the original L Brahma (F1) died, is it one of his offsping cock (F2) that you are using now? Have you tried to mate the F2 cock to the original L Brahma in a backcross (BC)?I am still using the same breeds, I don't know what F#s or CB means.
I did hatch a cock from the original L Brahma and I have some offspring from him but he died after I moved. I am now using the only cock I have left which is from the L Brahma cock that died and the EE who lays pinkish eggs .. .
I shipped both dozen eggs to someone and I haven't heard back from him .. .How'd the hatch to with the first group of eggs?
Never heard of that breed before but I just looked them up and the color of their eggs looks real deep and not just a bloom. Wish I had heard of that breed before .. .Also, have you ever considered crossing with Croad Langhans (UK conformity--not the ones that conform to the US APA)? In another thread I found a reference to a breeder on Facebook called Feather Hill Rare and Fancy Fowl.
I would be curious to know how those pink eggs compare to yours. I wonder if the Croad Langshan eggs are pink only because of a bloom or does the pink pigment go all the way through the egg?
