This morning there was a strange egg in the coop. It is small and pink. This egg is different than any other egg I've gotten to date. I have 4 guinea males and one female that are a year old. I assumed right away that it must be a guinea egg because it looks SO different than my chicken eggs that I have. Could it be a guinea egg? I read on the forum that guinea eggs are brown. This was definitely NOT brown and very definitely PINK. I put it in the incubator thinking it was a guinea egg... now I'm confused.
Thanks for the help!
My current crew is Rhode Island reds, Red Sex Links, White Plymouth Rocks, Belgian D'uccles and one White Plymouth Rock/Light Brahma mix. I've been getting varying shades of brown eggs with the D'uccles giving small white eggs.
