Pink fuzzy mold in new coop

We build a new coop last month with treated lumber. This past week we had significant rain all week. Now pink fuzzy (mold?) is growing on the inside and outside walls of the coop. It looks like pink insulation or cotton candy. There are some black specks that have formed too. We live in a very wooded area, so the coop and run don't actually get direct sunlight - so it can't really dry out completely. I'm turning on the heat lamp inside the coop during the day and keeping the chickens out in the run, in hopes of drying it out. How should I clean this and prevent it? Thanks

How should I clean this and prevent it?
Maybe some bleach?
Pics would help.

Oh, and... Welcome to BYC! @skbomar

Google "pink bacterial growth" , that's most likely what the pink mold is , a bacterial growth . You are going to have to get that area cleaned up and dried out . Its a pretty common thing here on the east coast in the hot humid weather in bathrooms , showers , etc .

Can you show pictures?

I am in Central Virginia, Hardiness Zone 6. I have 6 pullets from 6 to 8 weeks old.
Also, will washing walls in bleach solution hurt chickens?

Pic 2 is outside
Pic 3 is inside door
Pic 5 shows roof ventilation -on same on both gable ends
Pic 6 is inside
Pic 7 is what it starts out looking like - at first we thought it wash shedding down😆

I searched that, but it showed the slimy pink bacteria you get in the showers. I don't think this is that, but then that's why I'm here!😄

Yes , but it can also appear as a fuzzy growth . In any case , mold , mildew , bacteria , I would scrub with a bleach solution , dry area thoroughly and get some ventilation or more ventilation in there ASAP or you're just going to have the same problem down the road .

Since you are using a heat lamp I assume you have power. If it were me, once the chicks were out I'd seal up the ventilation you do have and run a fan and a dehumidifier. Remove those and open back up for the night. Repeat as needed. In the meantime search these forums for "ventilation". Once dry, looks like you need to add a bunch. PS personally I don't think I'd bother with the cleaning. What you see is superficial. Get it dried out and keep it dry and the stuff will stop growing.

How 'wet' was the lumber?
That stuff can take a good year or more to 'dry' out.
You'd think the chemicals would deter any organism growth.
